yes I have been the worst community moderator and creator ever. I have totally neglected this community and I feel horrible about it now. I have been grounded for around 3 months now and I still am until March 17th so I figured for the new year a new layout. I've now gotten the hang of making layouts and I've made some pretty good ones if I don't say so myself (i.e. my layout). I also have a new username but I still reply to lachicapreciosa. The new one is xxtragicxlovexx. I miss you guys and I shall be updating lots when it gets to March 17th until then. madd love

[16 Jan 2005|02:08pm]

Has anyone noticed a trend in some songs? There seems to be alot of reference to performing and stage and shows and such. any theorys?

"I've come to be these halos and welcome to our show those enamored who won't miss us"
Reivers Music

"Pay the price to see the show but you don't own me"
This Secret Ninja

"Am I the ghost upon the stage?"

"the ghosts on the stage appeared."
The Days Of The Phoenix

"Deep within divinity let's start another secret show"
Of Greatings and Goodbyes

"When the director sold the show, who bought its last rights?"
"When the new actor stole the show who questioned his grace?"
...But Home Is Nowhere

"You land as lightly as the new snow, cinematic"
This Celluloid Dream

Plus the whole Leaving Song Part II video was on a stage.

I'm sure theres more, but I can't think of them right now

[ mood | worried ]

okay guys I'm going to be gone for a while because I am about to get hit by hurricane Frances. It is headed straight for us, therefor we do not have school tomorrow or Friday. There is no water in the stores and no gas at the gas stations. Frances is larger then the state of Florida itself. We are now taking pictures of the house for insurance purposes and I just got back from putting shutters on the first floor. I am so tired and I still need to put on the second floor. Well just to let you know I might not be here for a while because I might not have power and such..so good bye for a while

[ mood | annoyed ]

wow...sorry guys I've neglected the community *shame shame* well Davey DJ'd the Curiosa after party! and if anyone went to Street Scene I hope you are okay since 19 people were taken to the hospital after bariers were knocked down. I heard it was utterly horrible and that Davey had to stop like 4 times to tell everyone to move back and he would point to the people who had fainted or were being trampled and yelled get them out. I feel terrible that their first performance in a while had to be sooo terribly tramatic. Discuss if you went or what you think about it oh and my neglection *shakes head* oh the shame.

Poor community, how I hath neglected you. I went on a vacation and I feel completely horrid for not posting here and talking to y'all. (Am I a bad mod or what? lol)
I'm feeling very "The Cure"-ish today, so under the cut there's a few photos just for the heck of it. And, if I was alittle more talented and had PSP, I would make some LiveJournal bases.

Oh, yeah, anybody wanna be my friend? I promise you I'll comment on your posts in you LJ. :)

Alright, here's the cut off area... sorry if it or the pictures don't work.

Cut (off) Here (for pictures)...Collapse )

Fascination Street
End of the world
Love song
Inbetween Days
Just Like Heaven
Jupiter Crash
Pictures Of you
Before 3
From the edge of the deep green sea
100 years
The promise

encore 1

Play for today
A forest

encore 2

going nowhere

wowowow. i cant believe it happend. i wrote down the set list as they went along. it was absolutley wonderful. i think everyone should see the cure live. even if you dont like them that much. that was so surreal, like being in another universe. my, i loved it.
anyway. everyone went crazy when they came out. and everyone was singing and dancing, even me haha. and i think it was an awesome set. except they didnt play boys dont cry or friday im in love. but during plainsong i almost cried because it was so beautiful. i mean that show was love. haha. i think the best song they played was just like heaven because it was awesome how everyone yelled show me show me show me with robert. and jupiter crash was amazing.
and at the end of pictures of you my tape recorder stopped because i put it in the wrong mode and only got 45 min of the show. but it sounds amazing. im going to put it on a cd when i figure out how to work the program. but back to the show 100 years was so powerful. and during the encore i was surprised they played a forest but it was great. and the second encore was magic. it was amazing. the band was very into it to, so much passion. oh man i wish that night never ended.
